Taimur Case
Taimur advises on a broad variety of corporate matters to support clients in the high technology and life sciences industries ranging from newly formed startup companies to mature, late-stage private companies, VC funds and strategic corporate investors. His experience spans a wide variety of corporate matters, including incorporations, venture and debt financings, tender offers and structured secondaries, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. Taimur provides his clients with practical and thoughtful advice to help solve business and legal issues, assess risks, and structure and negotiate transactions efficiently and successfully.
In recent years, Taimur has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Northern California Super Lawyers, “One to Watch” for Corporate Law by U.S. News Best Lawyers in America and named to the National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40.
While at Berkeley Law, Taimur was Co-President of the Law Students of African Descent, a member of the Board of Advocates, and a staff editor for the Berkeley Journal of African-American Law & Policy. He also represented low-income youth through the East Bay Community Law Center’s Youth Defender Clinic and advised startups through Berkeley Law’s New Business Counseling Practicum.
