Essie advises technology and life sciences clients on a broad range of litigation matters, including patent and contract disputes.

Prior to joining Fenwick, Essie worked as a law clerk at the Federal Court of Appeal in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (Cour d'appel fédérale).

Essie has a strong background in research, including a Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of Victoria.
